Twincom was sub-contracted by Emerge Queue to install QMS management network consultancy services in MTN Uganda premises on their behalf. These premises are both in Kampala and upcountry.

Twincom also installed the QMS management network consultancy service in Multi Choice premises on behalf of Emerge Queue.

WLAN (Wi-Fi): We installed a Wi-Fi network covering the whole university with point to point links to off-campus sites. Fiber installations: We installed underground fiber cables connecting different buildings in the University. Both single mode and multimode fiber cables were used. Cisco supply and installations: Twincom supplied CISCO switches and other equipment to Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi. These were used on the fiber network. We supplied network equipment, (Media converters, Access points, Fibre patch cords and Patch panels).

We installed LANs and WLANs, supplied network equipment and performed several network repair and maintenance tasks in different projects with IDI.

Installation of a power backup system (Battery bank and Inverter system), Air conditioning system, LAN and general server room setup.

Supplied cisco equipment including HWIC cards and other accessories.

UNATU outsourced their IT department to Twincom Technologies Ltd to maintain computer networks and user support systems, to oversee installations, maintaining and servicing their IT equipment, to ensure smooth running and operation of the infrastructure as a whole. We supplied CISCO Routers plus installation and configuration. We also supplied and installed a UPS and Air Conditioner System.

We supplied network CISCO switches and power accessories plus LAN and WLAN installation linking different buildings. We supplied network equipment such as APC Rack power distribution unit 16A, Level one PLI-4251 network switch, Level one 24 port network switch, network sockets, Cat6 Ethernet cable and RJ45. We extended both LAN and VoIP at their premises.

We installed a wireless link connecting all the buildings on the new plant premises in the Mbarara brach.

We installed a point to point link installation, support and supplied wireless accessories. We also installed and commissioned wireless links, (Airmax – 400 antenna), from Nakasero – Mulago and Nakasero – Makerere. We also installed a wireless link (TP-Link).
